About Miami Jazz Fest™ The Miami Jazz Fest™ is the brainchild of event founder and producer, Carmen J. Cartiglia. There are many music festivals that call themselves Jazz events, but are all too often watered down with other types of music says Mr. Cartiglia. The Miami Jazz Fest™ will be going back to the basics and will bring in some exceptional true jazz artists from around the world. The first night of this 2 day event, November 17th, will feature the exotic sound of Brazil as we bring in a star studded line up of international musicians to introduce you to the unique and varied styles of Brazilian jazz. The second day and evening, November 18th, will be rocking Miami as we bring in some swinging, no nonsense, straight ahead jazz performances by world renown musicians from across the globe. This will be a REAL jazz festival with the very best musicians the jazz world has to offer coming together to create an experience not to be missed! Were going Old School for this event and bringing the people of Miami a true jazz event that they can be proud of! Mr. Cartiglia goes on to say that this is the start of an annual jazz festival that will grow with each year and establish Miami as the home for True Jazz and the revival jazz is enjoying.
