Join us as we celebrate life and the life to come at the first annual Dia de los Muertos Festival benefiting Easter Seals Central Texas to be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 - Noon-11pm at Fiesta Gardens on Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin. This vibrant day of culture, art, music and food will include Dia de los Muertos traditions:
•Music - As the Live Music Capital of the World, music will be presented from two stages starting at 1pm until 11pm.
•Food and Drink - Food, beverages and merchandise will be available for purchase.
•Niños Zone - As a family-friendly event, the Niños Zone will feature entertainment and activities for children of all ages and abilities.
•Altars - An exhibition of elaborately decorated Dia de los Muertos altars from local artists and students. Purchase a unique tribute for a loved one–including pets.
•Costume Parade - Come dressed in Dia de los Muertos costume to the Festival and enter our Los Muertos Costume parade.
