DescriptionAt the InterHarmony International Music Festival, well-known soloists and chamber players from around the globe gather in Arcidosso, Tuscany, Italy and Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany to perform and teach talented young musicians. InterHarmony was founded in 1998 by Misha Quint, who has been directing international music festivals for fourteen years.
The concert series includes performances by Misha Quint, Music Director and Cellist, and other world-renowned guest musicians, culminating in an orchestral concert featuring the InterHarmony Festival Orchestra. In 2010, guest artists include Caitlin Hulcup, Mezzo-Soprano with the Vienna State Opera, and Christa Mayer, Mezzo-Soprano at the Bayreuther Festpiele and Dresden Opera. InterHarmony guests from previous years were Oleg Krysa, former Oistrakh student and Sidney Harth, former concertmaster of the L.A. Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and New York Philharmonic.
